Thanks for keeping this tradition alive!!! My family loves to come to this drive-in! Laid back and true "drive-in" experience! We love sitting in the back of our truck, under the stars, enjoying the double feature.
Over my 56 years, I have been to many, MANY drive-in theaters. (Miracle Twin Drive-in - Flint, MI, US-23 Drive-in - Flint, MI, Winchester Drive-in - Campbell, CA, Capitol Drive-in - San Jose, CA, Timp Drive-in - Orem, UT, Pioneer Twin Drive-in, Provo, UT, just to name a few!) Having Hi Way Drive-In, within a few miles of where we live, has allowed my husband and I to share the fun and craziness that we enjoyed during our childhoods, with our kids. Yes, it's old. Yes, it could be "modernized." But, for as "old fashioned" as it is, it's clean and well cared for. My kids are older now, but I never had any safety concerns, when they were younger. Plus, I do believe that they make the absolute best movie popcorn, ever!
Great atmosphere, and you can bring s picnic if you'd like. Or you can buy from the concession stand. Great family fun!
Very family oriented. Great screen quality. Would have given five star but bathrooms we're scary , clean but not kept modern.
We have not missed going to the Hi-Way Drive-In since 1996. My family and I love this place. It is the only old-school Drive-in left in the area. My kids are now adults and take their friends, even though we 2 hours away now.
